Scandinavian single-serve Soda Maker

This project explored the design language of a Scandinavian brand for a soda maker, centered around a single-serve dispensing system that carbonates water internally and dispenses it directly into either a glass or a bottle. The goal was to create a high-end soda maker that feels more like a refined design object than a conventional kitchen appliance.
Inspired by architectural forms and Nordic minimalism, the product features a monolithic silhouette with recessed surfaces and carefully balanced proportions. A translucent top element for water refill adds visual lightness while subtly revealing function. The result is a calm, confident presence that integrates naturally into contemporary interiors.
Material choices prioritize durability and tactility, combining sandblasted metal with soft matte surfaces for a timeless and understated expression. By concealing technical complexity behind precise geometry and minimal interfaces, the design embodies Scandinavian values of simplicity, balance, and longevity.
